The Library Book Club will be meeting on Thursday, January 15, at 1 pm to discuss Miracle at St. Anna by James McBride. If you cannot make it to the meeting but would like to part of the discussion, log onto the library’s website at, and click on the “Book Club” link on the left side. Then, you will be able to click on the link for the book club blog and leave your comments.
There will be an Online Genealogy Workshop on Thursday, January 15, at 3 pm. Director Harris will give instructions on how to use the Heritage Quest database and furnish patrons with other useful genealogy web sites. Registration is not required.
The Library Teens will be meeting on Saturday, January 17, at 1 pm to discuss their plans for the upcoming year.
The Library will be closed on Monday, January 19, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
There will be a Writer’s Workshop on January 22 at 6 pm. Local author Dave Gardner will be heading up this group for us. If you are a writer or an aspiring writer, please come join us.
Preschool Story Time will meet on Tuesday, January 13, at 10 am.
