The Library strives to meet the needs of the community in every way possible. In keeping with this mission, the library has arranged for a trustworthy individual to assist the citizens of Henderson County in filing for unemployment benefits via the Internet. If you would like assistance, give the library a call at 968-3239.
The Library also provides assistance in filling out Federal Income Tax forms. Trained representatives from AARP will be on hand beginning in February. They will be available almost every Tuesday and Thursday evening through the first of April. If you would like help, call the library for an appointment.
Beginning Monday, February 2, the Library will host its annual “Local African-Americans of Achievements” display. Library staff member Joy Johnson has once again compiled us an impressive group of locals to inspire us. This display will be available for viewing during the whole month of February.
Preschool Story Time will meet on February 3 at 10 am.
