The Library will be closed on Friday, April 10, for Good Friday.
The week of April 12-18 is National Library Week. The library has several activities scheduled for the week.
On Tuesday, April 14, the Pied Pipers from Freed Hardeman University will be at Preschool Story Time at 10 am.
On Thursday, April 16, the Library Book Club will meet at 1 pm. Members were asked to read any book by Barbara Taylor Bradford. At 5:00 pm, the Library Friends will meet for their monthly meeting. A very special event is scheduled for Friday, April 17, at 3:00 pm. There will be a special presentation of new computers for the library from ConnectedTN.
On April 21, Preschool Story Time will be taking a trip to the West Tennessee Safari Park. The admission is $10 for adults and $7 for children. Everyone must provide their own transportation, but all who wish may travel with a caravan that will be leaving the library at 9:00 am. If you plan to go with the group, you need to call the library at 968-3239 and sign up.
The Library Friends are planning an indoor yard sale for the end of April, first of May, and need your help. If you have any items you would like to donate for this sale, please drop them off at the library or call the library to arrange a pick up.
