There will be one free Beginner’s Art Class for ages 13 and up at the Library on Thursday, January 14, from 1:00-3:00 pm. Please call the library at 968-3239 to register if you would like to attend. The focus will be on drawing.

There will be a meeting of the Library Board at the Library on Thursday evening, January 14, at 5:30 pm.

The Library will be closed on Monday, January 18 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Preschool Story Time will meet on Tuesday, January 19, at 10:00 am.

One of the largest social networking sites at the present is Facebook. This website allows you to connect with friends, relatives, celebrities, and groups. You can share information, pictures, and videos. You can even have fun playing games, and it is all free! On Wednesday, January 20, at 2:00 pm, there will be a free informational session at the library on “Beginning Facebook.”

The Library Book Club will be meeting on Thursday, January 21, at 1:00 pm to discuss “Half Broke Horses” by Jeanette Walls. Join them in discussioin at the meeting or online at Click on the Book Club link on the left.

The Library Friends will also meet on Thursday, January 21. Their 5:00 pm meeting will be held in the Library Community Room.

AARP Representatives will be at the library once again this year providing patrons with free assistance filling out their federal income tax forms and e-filing them. If you would like assistance, please call the library at 968-3239 for an appointment.
