Plans are currently under way for the 2010 Summer Reading Programs for the children and youth. Due to the huge crowds that attend these programs, we have decided to have two performances of each program on the Fridays in June, one at 10:00 am and one at 1:00 pm. This should help with the parking problem and enable all children who would like to see the performance to be able to do so. All of the money for these programs is raised outside our budget. If you would like to help, please contact Dinah at the library at 968-3239. Preliminary plans are posted on the library’s website ( ). Click “News and Info.” Then, click “Children.”

Also, don’t forget to stop by the library to pick up your copy of the 2010 Henderson County Imagination Library calendar. Cost is $10. All proceeds go to support the Henderson County Imagination Library.
