Thursday, April 8, will be the last day to receive free tax assistance at the library for this year. Representatives from AARP will be here from 12:30-4:30 to assist patrons. Appointments are full, but walk-ins will be accepted as time allows.
April 1-17 is National Library Week. In celebration, the library is having a fine free period from April 1 through April 15. Any materials returned during this time will not be charged fines if they are overdue. If you have an overdue fee already on your account, you can call now to have it forgiven.
Preschool Story Time will have a special guest on Tuesday, April 13. Majik, the therapy dog, will be in attendance. Bring your preschooler and join in the fun!
The Library Book Club will be meeting on Thursday, April 15, at 1:00 pm, to discuss The Red Door by Charles Todd. You are invited to participate.
The Library Friends will be meeting on Thursday, April 15, at 5:00 pm, for their regular monthly meeting. Discussion will include details for the Library Friends Yard Sale which is scheduled for April 22 and 23. If you have items you would like to donate for this sale, you may drop them off at the library or call to have them picked up.
