The library will be closed on Thursday, November 11, in observance of Veterans Day.

Would you like to learn how to make perfect holiday pies for your family? On Friday, November 12, at 1:00 pm, award-winning pie maker Frances Carroll will share tips and recipes on how to do just that. She may even have samples for your tasting. This program is free and open to the public.

Preschool Story Time will be learning about Pioneers on November 16, at 10 am.

The Library Book Club will meet on November 18 at 1:00 pm. They will be discussing Fred Thompson’s book Teaching the Pig to Dance. You are invited to participate!

The Library Friends will be meeting on November 18 at 5:00 pm to finalize their plans for the rest of the year. This includes the Christmas Parade, the semi-annual used book sale which is planned for December 2-4, and their end of the year gathering.

Mark your calendars now for a special Christmas concert the library will be hosting on Saturday night, December 11. “Come Celebrate Christmas with the David Johnson Chorus” will be a family Christmas experience. The concert will be held at Lexington High School Auditorium beginning at 7:00 pm. Admission is $10 per person.  Call or come by the library for tickets.
