The Library Friends will be conducting their semi-annual used book sale at the library from December 2-4 during library hours: Thursday from 9 to 6, Friday from 9 to 5, and Saturday from 9 to 3. Library Friends members may attend the special “Members Only” presale on Wednesday, December 1, from 9 to 5. Many of these books are in like new condition and would make excellent Christmas gifts.

Author Rob Dalby will be at the library on Thursday, December 2, at 1:00pm, signing copies of his latest book A Piggly Wiggly Christmas.  This is the fourth book in Robert Dalby’s beloved Piggly Wiggly series.  With a heaping spoonful of Dalby’s Southern charm, the book is a humorous and heartwarming tale reminding us that we’re never too young or too old to believe in miracles. The library will have copies for sale at a discounted price; this would make an excellent Christmas gift.

Preschool Story Time will be meeting at 10:00 am on December 7. They will be talking about the old west time period.

The Library will be hosting live Christmas music at the library on Friday, December 10, from 11:00 am through 1:15 pm. Local singers and musicians will be delighting us with the sounds of the season.

The Library has a Christmas basket full of goodies that will be given away on December 11. For a donation of $1, your name will go in the drawing. All proceeds go toward the Henderson County Folk Festival.
