The David Johnson Chorus blew us all away with their performance on Saturday night, December 11. Their voices and harmonies were unbelievable. If you missed it, you will want to make plans to attend the next concert (not booked yet). One concert attendee who just returned from New York commented that the David Johnson Chorus’s performance was equal to any she saw on Broadway. The Chorus performs for the pure joy of singing, and their joy is evident in their performance. Thank you to all who supported and attended this event.

The Library Friends will be having their annual Holiday Pot Luck on Thursday, December 16, at 5:00. Bring a dish and join them in celebrating their accomplishments of the past year.

A Children’s Christmas Party will be held at the Library on Tuesday, December 21, at 10:00 am. Santa will be stopping by for a visit so the kids can get in their last minute request. Refreshments will be served, and each child in attendance will receive a free book.

The library will be having a fine-free period from now through the end of the year to help patrons out during the holidays. If you have overdue items, now would be the time to return them. If you already owe overdue fines, just give us a call at 968-3239 and ask to have them removed.
