This Friday our guest for the kids’ summer reading program is the Zinghoppers: preschool pop for folks that love to hop. This is an interactive, lively, music program with large puppet like characters that engage, enducate, and entertain. You may check them out at www.zinghoppers.com Two shows will be held, one at 10 am and the other at 1 pm.

Our teen summer reading program has ended. The winner of the e-reader was Kelly Wood. Thanks to all who participated in reading!

July 1 begins our Adult Summer Reading program.  Special programs will be held on each Thursday at 4:00 pm. This week’s program is “How to use a Nook.” Library Director Dinah Harris will be presenting this session. Next week, Melonie Shelby will be presenting “Couponing 101.”

Preschool Story Time has a few summer programs left. The next one is on Tuesday, July 12, at 10 am.

The library has a couple of other special events which will be held this month. On July 27, a boating safety course will be offered. A TWRA representative will conduct the course. On July 28, the Career Coach from the Tennessee Dept of Labor and Workforce Development will return.
