Many people have expressed interest in the library offering classes to help people lose weight and/or to get more physically fit. Licensed nutritionist and certified aerobics instructor Leanne Hatchett has agreed to head up a group here at the library. Interested individuals are asked to come Thursday, October 13, at 1:00 pm, to discuss meeting times and types of programs and activities desired. This is a free program with no strings attached whatsoever. If you would like to be a part but cannot come on Thursday, just call the library at 968-3239 and leave your name and number. Beginning November 2, aerobics classes will be offered every Monday and Wednesday mornings from 8:00-9:00 am.

The Library has finally received the long awaited computer lab! We are excited to announce that Peggy Wentworth will be teaching classes each Tuesday. If you would like to be a part of these classes, call the library and your name will be added to the list. Director Harris will also be teaching classes on how to search for jobs online and  how to use a resume template.

Preschool Story Time will be meeting on Monday, October 17, at 10:00 am. They will be talking about dinosaurs.

The Library Friends will be meeting on Thursday, October 20, at 5:00 pm.  Come join them! We would like to say a special thanks to our hard-working friends group. They are the best!

The Library will be having an exhibit of framed art by local artists beginning at noon on October 21 and running through Saturday, October 28 at noon. There will be a special “Meet the Artists” reception on Tuesday evening, October 25, from 5:00-6:00. Come enjoy this display of local talent.
