Author Don Curtis will be at the library on Friday, November 30, from 10:00-noon, signing copies of his book, “and Should We Die…The Cane-Creek Mormon massacre.”  On August 10,1884, in Lewis County, Tennessee,  a mob posing as the Ku Klux Klan, interrupted a Mormon Church meeting, and a massacre occurred . Donald R. Curtis’s book covers this tragedy in its entirety.

The knitting class will be meeting at the library on November 30 from 1:00-5:00 pm in the community room.

Preschool Story Time will meet at 10:00 am on December 3.  They will be reading a Mercer Mayer story.

The Library Friends will be having their semi-annual used book sale during library hours from December 6-8 with a special “Members Only” sale on Wednesday, December 5.

As a Christmas gift to our patrons, the library is having a fine free period running through December 7. If you have items that are overdue, they can be returned during this time with  no penalty. If you owe outstanding overdue fines, just contact the library during this time, and those fines will be taken off your account.
